3. How to Learn to Be Love
3.2 The Energy Cycle of Love
I have said before that you get what you create. But you reside in a time- bound system. This means that you are right now experiencing that which you have created in your past. If you understand cause and effect, then you can understand that your experiences today are the effect. Your choices and beliefs from your past are the cause. If you decide right now to radically change perspective and you instantly come to hold new ideas and beliefs, then it will take some amount of time for your reality to change. Over the next while you will experience less and less of the world built upon your old beliefs and more and more of the world built upon your new beliefs.
This is the essential value of the consciousness construct called Time. It is that which separates cause from effect.
So, if the cause occurs in your own consciousness right now, the effect will not occur in your reality for some time. Exactly how long it takes will depend upon how fundamental the change is and how firm you are in your resolve and intent.
But what you should understand is that the process of changing your reality does take time.
It is a matter of changing your own beliefs and choices and then holding to that inner-change, whilst allowing your outer- reality to transform over whatever period is required to conform to your inner-change.
With that background I wish to tell you this: if you wish to live in heaven tomorrow, then you should begin by being a citizen of heaven today.
Begin by striving constantly to love yourself ever more magnificently. In so doing, your capacity to love others will expand.
Then you should seek to be the most loving being that you can be. When you yourself are a citizen of heaven by your thoughts, your words and your deeds, then indeed, you will come to find your world slowly becoming more and more heavenly.
And no death to this world will be required of you. Be the change you desire and the change will follow suit.
The advice I offer is to be patient with your life, be patient with yourself and give yourself a good deal of grace.
But make a start right now! Your tomorrows are being created by the consciousness and energy that you express today. So you can, and will, have a tomorrow that is love-filled if you create with only love today.
Every time you find it hard going and every time you falter, simply return to the path of love. So, begin again by being kind to yourself and by loving yourself. That you have faltered is proof that you are trying. Simply make a choice anew to engage with life using the energy of love.
And that brings me right to the heart of the matter.
Love is an energy.
It is the only true energy.
All other energy is a derivative of love.
The more love you give away, the more you have.
The more you have, the more you can give.
Love is the only thing that is like this. It is inexhaustible once you begin to express it.
Imagine money was like that – imagine that the more you spent, the larger your bank balance would be.
Everyone would be out on the streets buying and spending and giving it away! And this is how it should be with love. Give it away!
And not just to others.
Give it to yourself first.
Seek to love yourself limitlessly, exactly as you are.
And the doorway to such self-love is self- acceptance.
Make the choice to accept yourself, no matter what. Then seek to love what you do and do what you love. Then love those around you and surround yourself with those you love.
I have said that you are the light of awareness that shines from the Source through the lens of your consciousness. I have said that your consciousness is shaped by your thoughts, ideas, beliefs and choices.
Well, if your choices are all about love, then your lens will grow very large and very clear indeed. It will let through vast amounts of light. You will see clearly and what you will see will be full of light.
And this is the essence of the process.
The more love you allow to shine through you, the more you are creating with love.
The more you create with love, the more you will experience love.
And, of course, the more love you experience, the more you will have to give.
And so a wonderful new cycle is begun in your life and it can continue cycling up like this until you are a radiant point of pure love. Like a sun, you shall shine brilliant love light upon all around you.
And when this is the state of your consciousness, then it will be impossible for you to experience anything but that which you are directly creating. It will be impossible to experience anything at all that is dark or negative because you, yourself, will be shining too much light for there to be any shadow anywhere around you.
And that is as simple as it is. In theory.
