“I am Guanyin Bodhisattva, and I genuinely appreciate the title of ‘Bodhisattva’ that you give me. This title is a creation we share, and it holds great power. Every time you say ‘Bodhisattva,’ you connect with me and any other Bodhisattva, and we awaken your inner love, compassion, and strength.
You have all experienced the ups and downs of life, which have led to deep self-reflection and what you perceive as painful experiences. But the universe, the source, never intends anyone to suffer. These ups and downs are meant to tell you, my child, to calm down, pause, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and stay in your inner self for a few minutes.
Let your inner self come forth; it knows everything. Just trust yourself, and you’ll gradually feel a sense of security rising from within, a tranquility being realized. These will help you make choices and adjust your desires.
Every time you utter the word ‘Bodhisattva,’ from our perspective, you are not calling us. You are calling upon your inner divinity, and there is no difference between us and you.
The only difference between us is: I know who I am. So, let the words ‘Bodhisattva’ enter your heart, let the sound of these words fill your inner self.
You have never called upon us; you have always called your inner self. We happen to be not in the external world but in your heart. Children, we don’t see; we constantly feel with our eyes closed.
Yes, there is much pain, inequality, injustice, lack of love that appears in your lives. Even so, are you willing to accept your life?
All your pain has never contaminated your inner self even a bit. Your inner self allows you to experience, even if it deviates from its original nature; it still supports you. It is right behind you, just like I am.
So, you don’t need to run to temples to find me. You don’t need to shed tears speaking to me. I am always here, in your heart. I love you unconditionally.
So, treat yourself as if you were me, talk to yourself, love yourself, reconcile with yourself. Share all your pain and grievances with yourself. After you’ve said everything, silently say ‘Bodhisattva’ in your heart, and you will realize how powerful you are.
Respect yourself as much as you respect us. We have no difference. You have always been there with yourself, never fleeing, because you know you bear all that ‘is.’
You are everything; you are this person, this bird, this flower, this Bodhisattva, this Buddha, this speck of dust… So, shed tears for yourself. I love you.”
